THE FEET

*************** THE FEET *********************

A few times in the Scripture we find feet mention-
ed. In many of the cases, they are used to denote a
specific period of time in the purposes of God.

We take our cue from Daniel 2, where the interp-
retation of the dream which the king of Babylon had,
showed the feet of the image to be the extreme end
of the time known as The Times of the Gentiles.

This is the entire time represented by the four
world kingdoms represented by the four parts of the
anatomy of the dream.

The feet of the image in the dream were still
in existance at the time the God of Heaven set up a
kingdom which should smash the great Gentile Kingdom.

I want to interject right here that neither
Communism nor the EEC will ever attain to being a World
Kingdom. If either should do that, it would become the
fifth kingdom, and the Bible only specifies four. The
Little Horn which springs out of the fourth represents
the Holy Roman Empire, or the Roman Catholic Church.
That Church is an extension of the fourth kingdom, and
is still around to receive the crushing blow from God's
Kingdom.

There are many honest and sincere Catholics on
earth, and we have to leave them with God, who is Just.
It is the SYSTEM that is to be crushed by God and His
Kingdom.

Jesus acted out a prophecy concerning the last
days when He girded Himself with a towel and began to
wash the feet of His disciples. He told them they
did not know what He was doing, but that they should
know later.

The feet of His disciples represented the very last
days of the work of the Church on earth. The people
who are alive, and trusting Jesus at this time shall
experience a cleansing such as we have hardly dreamed
to be possible. The NATURE OF SIN will be removed com-
pletely from those who are following hard after the
Lord.

This signals the beginning of the END-TIME
MINISTRY of the Body of Christ. It will be a short
one--about three and a half years, (a quick work), but
it will be a mighty demonstration of God's power to
deliver human beings, THROUGH OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.

Indeed, the WHOLE WORLD will have a witness during
that time. EVERY CREATURE will have the opportunity to
know Jesus.

Rev. 1 tells us of another "image" which has FEET.
It is a picture of the workings of Jesus through His people. At the extremity of the age, His people will be given the ministry which is represented by
FINE (Exact, highly refined, perfect) BRASS (Judgement,
properly evaluating, proper placement of value).

We who are alive now, can reasonably expect to be
among those who see and receive this Ministry. We can
become candidates for this Ministry by pressing into
the Spirit of God whereby our lives can be cleansed
from the desires and characteristics of the flesh.
