IT IS TIME

IT IS TIME

Concern is growing in the hearts of many people who begin to assess the conditions which now exist in the Church of the Living God.

How will we combat the steady growth of worldliness, which is attacking the Church like crabgrass?

How shall we stop false teachings from making inroads on our pure doctrines?

What can we do to increase interest and attendance at our services? Can we revive interest in the Sunday night service? If so, how?

Is there some program we can employ that will help us reverse the downhill trend, and spark new interest in the hearts of the people?

Yes! And the answer is quite a simple one. It is endorsed by the Holy Ghost, and is simple to put into motion. The hard part is selling it to ourselves and our congregations, but it will work, if put into operation. The formula is:

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for [it is] time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

Psalms 72:6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers [that] water the earth.

Zechariah 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; [so] the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Proverbs 21:21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Proverbs 2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, [and] apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, [and] liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as [for] hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.
