THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, HAVING THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

To me, it seems there are TWO GOSPELS that are destined to be preached to the WHOLE WORLD. One of them is ALL INCLUSIVE, while the other is STRICTLY RESTRICTIVE.

One is characterized by “WHOSOEVER WILL”, while the other says “…SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER IN.”

One was destined to be preached by human beings, the other by what the Bible calls “angels”. I believe the term “angels” refers to a SPECIALLY EQUIPPED GROUP OF REDEEMED HUMANS.

John the Baptist had preceded Jesus by preaching Baptism unto Repentance, but it was a comparatively short message, destined for a brief period of time.

Jesus came preaching what the Bible calls the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM.

According to Scripture, it was to be preached to ALL THE WORLD before the consummation of the age.

Mat 24:14 And this GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mat 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
Mat 13:48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
Mat 13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
Mat 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Question: Who is to be “taken”, and where are they going?

Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
Mat 13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
Mat 13:28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST: and in the time of harvest I will say to the REAPERS, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the REAPERS ARE THE ANGELS.
Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall GATHER OUT of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which DO INIQUITY;
Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the RIGHTEOUS SHINE FORTH as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mal 3:13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
Mal 3:14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
Mal 3:15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
Mal 3:16 Then THEY THAT FEARED THE LORD SPOKE OFTEN (consulted together) one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought (reckoned, guided their lives) upon his name (nature).
Mal 3:17 AND THEY SHALL BE MINE, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY JEWELS; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Mal 3:18 Then shall ye RETURN, AND DISCERN (Lit. Look back, and recognize who had been…) between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL ENTRANCE TO THE CITY OF GOD

EVERLASTING is the same as the word ETERNAL, meaning it comes from Eternity, where God lives, and is pure, unadulterated, and entirely free of error.
It will also have a Spiritual Power that is not in the Gospel of the Kingdom today. I believe the difference will be partially due to the Power at work in those who are declaring the Good News of the City of God On Earth.
Yes, I do believe that our lack of Power stems directly from the fact that we are not as fully committed to the Lord and His Work as we could or should be.
That will change, however, as the Lord continues His project of “building His Church” with the “lively stones of men”. We will either get clean or get sorted out.
I believe that the sorting process is about to begin, BIG TIME.

Rev 21:27 And there SHALL IN NO WISE ENTER INTO IT (THE CITY OF GOD} any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Isa 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Isa 35:8 And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; THE UNCLEAN SHALL NOT PASS OVER IT; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
