CONVICTIONS

A conviction is a principle that
we determine to follow, whatever the
Circumstance.
1. The Bible is the inspired
Word of God, and is the final
authority for my life. 2 Tim 3;16
Mat 4:4
2. My purpose in life is to seek
God with all my heart, and to build
my goals around His priorities. Mt
6:33 Phil 3:8
3. My body is the temple of God,
and must not be defiled by the lust
of the world. 1 Cor 3:16-17 19-20
1 Pet 2:11
4. My Church must teach the
Foundational truths of the Bible,
and reinforce my basic convictions.
1 Pet 4:17 2 Cor 6:14-17
5. My children and grandchildren
belong to God, and it is my respons-
ibility to teach them Scriptural
Principles, Godly character and bas-
ic convictions. Pro 22:6 Deut 6:7
6. My activities must never
in. weaken the scriptural convictions of
another Christian. Rom 14:13-15 1
Cor 8:9-13
7. My marriage is a life-long
commitment to God and to my
partner. 1 Cor 7:10-11, 17, 39
8. My money is a trust from God,
and must be earned and managed
According to Scripture. Pro 3:9-10
Mal 3:10
9. My words must be in harmony
with God's Word--especially when
reproving and restoring another
Christian. Rom 12:18 Gal 6:1
10. My affections must be set on
things above, and not on things of
earth. Col 3:1
